Legacy Lecture from Dr. William ‘Bill’ Hackett, Jr.

Enjoy a classic theology lecture from Dr. Hackett. Dr. Hackett currently serves as provost emeritus, providing guidance to the university’s leadership team. He has been an integral part of the university since 1988, serving in several positions in teaching, administration, student development, and academic affairs.

Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just here for the vibes, this tailgate is the perfect way to fuel up and get energized for the Homecoming game! There will be music, games, and plenty of fun to bring the excitement before heading into the stadium.

The Fire have faced St. Thomas 7 times, with the Fire holding a 4–3 advantage in the series. The Homecoming game will be a “black-out,” with all fans encouraged to wear black. Enjoy the fan-friendly atmosphere at a Fire football game, with flames coming off the scoreboard after touchdowns, and where entertainment on the field, in the stands, and on the Jumbotron is sure to impress!

Homecoming 2024 FAQs

Your registration covers access to all general Homecoming events, including campus tours, special sessions, and activities. Some events may have additional costs, which will be noted during the registration process. 

T-Shirts will be provided for the first 200 registrants.

Yes, on-site registration will be available for select events. However, for the best experience possible, we encourage you to register online in advance to secure your spot and ensure availability for limited-capacity events. 

Absolutely! You can register guests, including family members or friends, during the online registration process. The more the merrier! 

Registrant Pricing:

  • Individual Registrant: $25
  • Registrant + Guest: $40
  • Additional Guests: $25/person
    • All children under 12 years old can attend for free with registration.

Refunds for Homecoming registration will be available until October 1. After that date, we are unable to offer refunds due to planning requirements. Any new registrations after October 1 will be non-refundable. 

Yes! We love our Future Fire attendees! 
All children under 12 years old can attend for free with registration.

We recommend wearing comfortable attire for our outdoor activities and campus tours. Be sure to bring your SEU Fire merch or sport our school colors (red, black, and white)! The Homecoming Gala is the only formal event of the weekend.

Yes, parking will be available for the Homecoming attendees. Parking details, including maps and designated areas, will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
